Alex Maizuss

Founder

Alex Maizuss is a Compassionate Inquiry facilitator, educator, and advocate for personal transformation. With a background in math and computer science and a rich career spanning from cutting-edge tech to mindfulness, Alex collaborates with leaders like Gabor Maté and Sat Dharam Kaur, InsightLA and USC's Center for Mindfulness Science.

As the founder of the innerAwesome, Alex empowers individuals to uncover their purpose, ignite their potential, and lead fulfilling lives.

Before dedicating herself to personal development, Alex spent over a decade in the aerospace and financial sectors, overseeing projects ranging from space shuttles to financial models. Her journey into mindfulness began in 1996 when she turned to meditation to cope with the stress of student life and later, the challenges of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

This transformative experience led her to pursue mind-body approaches leading to her certifications in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindful Performance Enhancement, Awareness, and Knowledge (mPEAK), and Compassionate Inquiry (CI), and graduating in Hakomi (somatic-mindful psychotherapy).

Through these practices, Alex discovered a profound sense of purpose and fulfillment, inspiring her to create innerAwesome—a framework designed to help others tap into their inner strength and live with intention, confidence, and clarity
